Wes Watson Co-conspirator Arrested After Standing By During Watson’s Assault On Fiance

A second arrest has been made in connection with the widely publicized assault case involving fitness influencer Wes Watson, with Watson’s employee Jose taken into custody on two felony charges related to his role during the attack on Watson’s girlfriend.

According to court documents and reporting by content creator Jon Bravo, Jose was present in the home when Watson physically attacked his girlfriend and did nothing to intervene or assist her. Prosecutors allege that Watson’s employees were not passive bystanders but active participants in keeping the woman from seeking help.

As noted in the police report, Watson reportedly instructed his security guard directly, saying, “Make sure she doesn’t run,” and had him stand by the door in an effort to keep the woman from leaving the residence.

Jose turned himself in after learning there was a warrant out for his arrest. He arrived at the jail in Watson’s Rolls-Royce Phantom, apparently unconcerned about the charges he was facing. That confidence reportedly evaporated quickly once he learned he was being charged with two felonies: false imprisonment and tampering with a witness.

The tampering charge is particularly serious, as it alleges efforts to prevent a witness or the woman involved from providing testimony or cooperating with prosecutors. Bravo suggested on his channel that Jose had been in contact with Watson via FaceTime shortly before turning himself in, raising questions about whether there had been discussions about discouraging the woman from moving forward with the case.

Watson himself remains behind bars after a judge denied bail. At his court appearance, prosecutors presented five counts against him and argued that the woman had effectively been held against her will. The judge was unmoved by any arguments for release, and Watson remains held on a $115,000 bond.

Watson’s other employee, the security guard who was also present during the incident, has not faced charges. Bravo speculated that the guard may have cooperated with investigators in exchange for not being prosecuted, effectively providing information against both Watson and Jose.

Bravo noted, “Wes’s biggest nightmare came true because the security guard is free roaming the streets and Peggy and Jose are sitting in the cells together.”

Watson has been described by sources close to the jail as struggling significantly since his arrest, reportedly due to withdrawal from a combination of street d**gs, st**oids, testosterone, and human growth hormone.

Sources told Bravo that Watson has been keeping to himself since arriving, and that his withdrawal symptoms were severe enough that he was moved to a separate unit within the facility.
