(Video) UFC’s Michael Chandler wrangles snake out of the grass in expert showcase

The anticipation of a potential Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler showdown has captured the attention of MMA fans worldwide. With McGregor out of action since 2021, fans and Chandler alike were eager for a response from the Irish lightweight star.

While Chandler recently engaged in a war of words with Justin Gaethje, a new video of him on a golf course with a snake has drawn both praise and reactions from fans and celebrities.

In the video, Michael Chandler fearlessly interacts with a snake, showcasing a different side of himself. Adding a touch of humor, he wrote in the caption, “My wife would kill me… but I see this online all the time… So I am basically an expert, right?”

However, McGregor’s attention seems to be focused on Gaethje following his impressive head-kick knockout of Dustin Poirier at UFC 291. The Irish superstar quickly responded, tweeting, “Justin, I’ll slap you around.” Gaethje, eyeing a shot at the winner of the UFC 294 rematch between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira, received McGregor’s playful taunts.

“I’m the real BMF, he can fight for pennies if he wants, but I want spirits. I call the shots, I’m in it to launch shots, f**k Chandler, you want it, call for it,” McGregor tweeted confidently.

Michael Chandler has been sidelined for a long time, waiting for McGregor clash to materialize and he must be restless. According to reports, McGregor is still absent form the USADA database making 2023 return unlikely.

Despite that reports have surfaced that UFC is targeting McGregor and Chandler to headline December 16th PPV card. It’s unclear if there’s any truth to this rumor.

McGregor’s own manager was quoted casting doubt on 2023 return and citing the need to be ‘back the proper way’ with the USADA seal of approval in 2024.
