(Video) TikToker Icy Wyatt arrest: Body cam footage reveals tiktoker was tackled

Wyatt Yeager, with a TikTok following of over 1.3 million, was apprehended on March 28, 2022, following a dispute involving the police and other witnesses.

According to police reports, Wyatt was driving recklessly in Sunrise, Florida, before abruptly halting his vehicle in the middle of the road. It was alleged that two individuals approached him, requesting him to move his car, which apparently triggered his agitation, as reported by TMZ.

The recently released police body cam footage sheds light on the arrest of popular TikToker Icy Wyatt, also known as Wyatt Yeager. The video captures the moments of resistance and confrontation following an incident between Wyatt and another driver at a Chic-Fil-A parking lot.

The argument escalated when both parties relocated to a Chic-Fil-A parking lot, where they exited their vehicles and engaged in a heated exchange. Reportedly, Wyatt reached into his glove box, retrieved a firearm, and brandished it towards the other individuals.

As per the report, one of the alleged victims attempted to return to their car, prompting Wyatt to strike them on the back of the head with the gun before fleeing the scene.

The recently unveiled body cam footage captures the unfolding events of the 2022 incident. In the 16-minute-long video, police officers are seen interviewing the victims and witnesses involved in the altercation. When they inquire about Wyatt’s whereabouts, they discover that he had already left the scene.

However, owing to his distinctive pink Mercedes, officers locate him leaving his residence later that day.

“Put your hands out the window,” the officers instruct the TikTok star. “Get out of the car.”

Wyatt retorts, “Don’t you know who I am?”

As he eventually exits the vehicle, he fails to comply with the officers’ command to lie on the ground. Consequently, the officers tackle him from behind, conduct a search, and proceed to handcuff him.

Throughout the ordeal, the TikTok star persistently questions the officers about their actions. Even upon reaching the station, he continues to challenge and refuses to remove his jewelry before being taken into custody.

Despite his involvement in a physical incident with one officer, his demeanor abruptly changes when he enters the vehicle with a female officer. He showers her with compliments and remarks that she could be achieving more in life.

Wyatt faced charges of two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one count of battery on an officer, and one count of resisting arrest. He pleaded not guilty to all five charges and awaits his court hearing.

To date, Wyatt has not publicly shared his side of the story. However, upon his arrest becoming public knowledge, he released a statement on TikTok that contradicted the police reports.

In his TikTok statement, Wyatt asserted, “The rumors are not true.” He further stated that the police had acted wrongly, but due to pending legal action, he was unable to disclose further details.

With the release of the body cam footage, Wyatt issued another statement, expressing his desire to share the footage himself. He voiced frustration at the negative comments being made without understanding the full context, while also expressing gratitude for his loyal supporters who are aware of his backstory.
