(Video) MadTv had The Funniest skit spoofing Steven Seagal

MadTV’s sketch parodying Steven Seagal’s spiritual journey to meet the Dalai Lama perfectly captured the action star’s pompous persona and penchant for action.

The skit opens with Seagal introducing himself: “Hi I’m Steven Seagal. You know I’ve always been way more spiritual than the average American, but that’s not to say that I don’t love America. Heck I’d marry America if I could.”

He then meets the Dalai Lama, immediately disrespecting the spiritual leader and the monks. When a monk bows inadequately, Seagal berates him: “I didn’t call that a bow. I’ve seen better bows on a rowboat.”

The parody skillfully mocks Seagal’s tough-guy image and supposed spiritual enlightenment. When the Dalai Lama suggests there’s never a need for aggression, Seagal retorts: “No offense you worshipfulness, but I don’t come to where you work and tell you how to flip burgers.”

The sketch culminates in Seagal assaulting the monks and the Dalai Lama himself, perfectly lampooning the actor’s penchant for on-screen aggression.

MadTV’s portrayal hilariously skewers Seagal’s public persona, creating an unforgettable and spot-on parody of the action star’s spiritual pretensions and aggressive demeanor.
