Bellator MMA heavyweight contender produced a hilarious gaffe during a press conference.
A press conference can be entertaining for MMA fans. Many athletes end up being hilarious, exciting and/or entertaining debating with the press and their soon-to-be opponents.
Sometimes those arguments turn into physical altercations for real, making the press a mess.
But, what Sabah Homasi did was quite different, but isn’t that rare. During the Bellator 290 pre-fight press conference, ‘The Punisher’ accidentally ended up uttering some nasty stuff. He expressed how excited he is for the Saturday night’s outing that he would cover the cage with his bodily fluids.
“You will see how excited I am on Saturday night. I’m going to come all over the place. F*cking blow my load and f*cking beat this guy’s face.” Homasi said.
The clip of the interview went viral on social media, with fans jumping to the comment section to add more jokes.
“What’s happening to the world, man?” One fan wrote and another said, “You aren’t selling me on the fight like that, man lol”
Meanwhile, one fan joked how CBS will regret putting this event on their network. “CBS executives right now are freaking out lol.”
Bellator 290 will broadcast live via CBS for the first time, which also become the first MMA event to be broadcasted on the network.
Sabah Homasi will compete at Bellator 290 that will take place on February 4. The event will be headlined by a heavyweight title bout between Ryan Brader and MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko, who is looking to finish his MMA journey.
Homasi is scheduled to face Brennan Ward in a welterweight bout and will be featured in the main card. Both of them are on a 2-match win streak with Homasi finishing Jaleel Willis and Maycon Mendonça last year. Meanwhile, Ward returned in January of last year after a four year layoff and had two matches. He also knocked out his two opponents.
