Abdu Rozik, the three-foot-tall social media sensation, made his highly anticipated boxing debut on Saturday night at the Social Knockout 3 event in Dubai. However, the eagerly awaited showdown did not go as planned for the Tajik influencer.
Rozik faced off against Erali Boykobilov, an opponent from Uzbekistan, in a four-round exhibition bout. Although Boykobilov seemed to have the upper hand for the majority of the fight, the match was ultimately declared a draw.
Much to the surprise of the audience, Rozik immediately took to the microphone to voice his frustration with the result. “He just punched me on the back of my head and he thinks he won? Zero, no,” he exclaimed. Rozik also questioned the decision to have only three rounds instead of the six he had expected.
When asked about a potential rematch, Rozik’s reaction was even more heated. “He has to pay me because I am making him famous. He has to pay me and after that, I will do it. I do not want to without him paying me. He has to pay me for making him famous because I am bigger than him,” he shouted.
Boykobilov, on the other hand, was quick to respond, saying through a translator, “I will fight again in revenge. I think my punches were strong because he is dizzy now.”
Rozik had hoped that a victory over Boykobilov would pave the way for a highly anticipated showdown with his longtime rival, Hasbulla Magomedov. The two social media personalities have been embroiled in a bitter feud for a couple of years now.
“Always ready to fight Hasbulla,” Rozik had said in a previous interview. “I’m ready always! I don’t like him. He’s like when people are not respectful. If he sees somebody, he punches him immediately. It’s not even, ‘Hi, how are you?’ If he sees you… he is coming and punching you.”
With the draw against Boykobilov, Rozik’s path to a fight with Hasbulla remains uncertain. However, it is clear that the Tajik influencer is determined to settle the score and prove his dominance in the ring.
