In the world of MMA some moments often reemerge and go viral again. One such video features former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
And unlike many of his other viral videos this one depicts Jones doing something entirely legal.
It all started when the light heavyweight champion made an appearance at the FIBO fitness trade show in Germany.
At the event Jones was swarmed by fans. One of those fans had a peculiar wish – one that Jones fulfilled.
The MMA fan in question begged the then 31 year old champion to put him in a rear naked choke. Jones carefully approached but had no trouble choking the fan out in mere seconds.
Jones also aided the choked fan by lifting his legs up after the choke. The moment appeared to have brought the two closer together and they hugged afterwards. THe fan was delighted to have fulfilled his lifelong dream in a room filled with spectators who were suspended in disbelief.

Jon Jones is now 34 year old. He last fought in February of 2020. His career was initially stalled by hardballing the UFC during Ngannou fight contract negotiations. The negotiations turned sour rather fast and Jones found himself benched. His status within the UFC wasn’t aided when the news hit the mainstream media that Jones had been arrested after an alleged conflict with his fiance back in September.
As of right now there are no news of his return. It’s widely speculated that he could be making his Heavyweight debut sometime in the first half of 2022.
