(Video) Claressa Shields Spars Her Internet Troll, Makes Her Quit in 30 seconds

Claressa Shields, the self-proclaimed Greatest Woman of All Time, posted footage on Friday that appeared to show her sparring her internet troll – and it did not go well for the troll. Shields, a three-weight world champion in boxing with a 14-fight, seven-year career, has notable wins over Christian Hammer, Marie-Eve Dicaire, and Savannah Marshall.

In the clip shared on her account with nearly 1 million followers, Shields could not “believe this punk-ass girl pulled [up to the gym] after trolling [her] for months.” “[She] couldn’t last more than 30 seconds! I damn near killed this h–,” Shields said.

Typically, posting sparring footage is considered taboo in boxing circles, as some athletes perform better in the gym than in the ring. However, this tradition goes out of the window when boxers have the opportunity to confront their greatest trolls.

One particular shot appeared to be the beginning of the end for the troll – a body shot. Shields’ power punches seemed to make the troll reconsider her life choices.

Shields is not the only boxer who has confronted an internet troll in the gym. Heavyweight banger Deontay Wilder also did a similar act against Charlie Zelenoff, a cyber bully who had been targeting him and his daughter for months, if not years. Wilder’s response was a resounding beatdown, with barely one punch landing before Zelenoff had had enough and wanted to walk away.

Shields is active in both boxing and MMA currently and isn’t one to shy away from controversy.
