In a startling turn of events during Saturday’s Misfits Boxing 20 event, Afghan Dan experienced a sudden shoulder injury that brought his match against Little T to an immediate halt. The incident occurred when Dan threw a right-hand jab, resulting in what appeared to be a shoulder dislocation.
The moment was captured on camera as Dan visibly winced in pain, clutching his shoulder while the referee initiated a ten-count. His opponent, Little T, waited in the corner as the official assessment took place. The injury led to a Technical Knockout (TKO) victory for Little T.
The match had already been proceeding unusually, with Dan turning his back to his opponent three times in the opening ten seconds. His unconventional technique raised eyebrows among spectators, and the injury brought an early end to what would have been a three-round contest.
The matchup stemmed from the pair’s history as rap battle competitors on BGMedia during the mid-2010s. Following his victory, Little T addressed the conclusion of their rivalry.
“Beef settled,” he told DAZN. “Man shook his hand, gave him a hug and that. But obviously, I told yous, everyone thought I was being this big kid, this guy who’s trying to sell it. I told you I was coming to do what I did, round two stoppage, let’s go.”
He further added: “He kept turning around, I just wanted to knock him out. I know every time I got him in the back of his head, if that was in his face, he would have been boom, sleep. He knew my power then, that’s why he wanted to shake hands, man’s doing it!”
The bout featured on the undercard of former UFC competitor Darren Till’s match against Anthony Taylor, which Till won via sixth-round knockout. Taylor required oxygen assistance after collapsing following his exit from the ring.
