(Video) Boxer falls through ropes after getting KOd by a left hook

Ihosvany Rafael Garcia demonstrated his spectacular left hook. He ended up sending opponent Lukasz Plawecki out of the ring.

The undercard bout took place at Podpromie Arena in Rzeszow, Poland, on Friday night. It was a highlight reel moment for Garcia.

The 28-year-old Cuban floored Plawecki through the ropes. He ended up maintaining his unbeaten record, which now stands at 13 matches. Garcia previously defeated Dmytro Fedas in February, showcasing his consistent dominance in the ring.

Unfortunately for Plawecki, this bout marked his second professional career defeat. Early in the second round, Garcia delivered a powerful left hook, causing Plawecki to slump to the ground. As he fell onto the ropes, he tumbled through but managed to stay in the ring.

Despite his desperate attempts to stand and continue the match, Plawecki fell back down. This prompted the referee to call off the match. This early victory added another notch to Garcia’s rising career.

Shortly after Garcia’s victory, Lawrence Okolie made an emphatic return to the ring. He ended up knocking out fellow Pole Lukasz Rozanski. This victory was particularly significant for Okolie, as it marked his ascent to becoming a two-weight world champion. Okolie competed for the first time since losing his WBO cruiserweight belt to Chris Billam-Smith last May.

Okolie is now holding a professional record of 20-1 and aims to move up to the heavyweight division. For Rozanski, this bout resulted in his first career defeat. Okolie’s performance was dominant, knocking down Rozanski three times before the referee eventually waved off the match. Rozanski struggled to rise to his feet, unable to match Okolie’s power and precision.
