UFC’s Sean Strickland roasts reporter for wearing a pink shirt

UFC middleweight star Sean Strickland is once again making headlines with his outrageous behavior. He mercilessly mocked an interviewer for wearing a pink shirt.

Sean Strickland has gained notoriety for his unrestrained remarks. ‘Tarzan’ frequently makes audacious claims and accusations on social media, which has made him somewhat controversial. Consequently, his Twitter account has been suspended multiple times.

While he may not exhibit the same level of harshness during interviews as he does on social media, Strickland still maintains his wild personality. In a recent interview with My MMA News, he humorously teased interviewer John Eric Poli for his choice of a pink shirt.

He even went as far as saying that Poli resembled a Pepto Bismol bottle. Surprisingly, Strickland began the session with a roast even before the interviewer had a chance to ask any questions.

“I mean… It makes me a little queasy [doing this interview]. But you’d make a great spokesperson for Pepto Bismol. Where are you from? What city do you hail from?” Strickland remarked.

But Strickland’s jesting didn’t stop there. The 32-year-old UFC star proceeded to jokingly suggest that the interviewer is gay.

“Scranton? This guy probably got a lot of flak for wearing this shirt, man. Are you married? Oh, I apologize. Well, one day, you’ll make a man very happy. Are you gay? Just kidding. I’ve got nothing against the LGBTQ+ community, but this guy has a unique sense of humor,” Strickland quipped.

Sean Strickland experienced a difficult period after suffering consecutive losses against Alex Pereira and Jared Cannonier. However, in his most recent bout, ‘Tarzan’ successfully rebounded and secured a victory against Nassourdine Imavov. They headlined UFC Vegas 67 in January, with Strickland emerging as the winner via unanimous decision.

As for his upcoming event, Strickland is set to face the undefeated newcomer Abusupiyan Magomedov.

Magomedov has only competed once in the UFC, where he emerged victorious against Dustin Stoltzfus last year. Dana White has asserted that only Strickland is willing to face Magomedov, as other middleweight contenders are avoiding him.

Strickland and Magomedov are scheduled to collide at UFC Vegas 76, which will take place on July 1.
