UFC’s Bryce Mitchell calls out Elon Musk: “Earth is flat, Jesus is king”

UFC featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell has launched a verbal assault on X owner Elon Musk, just weeks before his anticipated return to the octagon.

Mitchell, known as ‘Thug Nasty’ in the MMA world, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his unconventional views, directly challenging the tech billionaire. “u can fool the weak Christians, not me. u cant break the firmament. haha, loser. earth is flat. Jesus is king. and that chip u want in everyones head, shove it up ur ass,” Mitchell wrote in his first post.

The Arkansas native, who hasn’t competed since his December loss to Josh Emmett, didn’t stop there. He continued his tirade with additional posts questioning the existence of space and aliens, while also suggesting Musk was planning a “fake alien invasion.”

“aliens r fake. so is space. so r u. u got all that money and im still richer,” Mitchell declared in another post, adding “repent bfore its too late brotha God hates liars.”

This isn’t Mitchell’s first time expressing controversial views or criticizing Musk. During a podcast appearance in July, he labeled the SpaceX founder as “the antichrist” and claimed Tesla was operating fraudulently.

Mitchell is scheduled to make his return at UFC 310 next month, where he’ll face submission specialist Kron Gracie on the main card. Gracie himself hasn’t competed since May, when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Charles Jourdain.

The timing of Mitchell’s comments coincides with Musk’s recent appearance at UFC 309, where the businessman was spotted among the spectators, showing his interest in mixed martial arts.

Despite his active social media presence, Mitchell appears focused on his upcoming bout, which will mark his first appearance in the octagon since his first-round defeat last December.
