Ilia Topuria went into the fight against Jai Herbert as a favorite. Topuria struggled a bit in Round 1, and it even looked like things might end badly for him. He was kicked to the head and barely recovered. He managed to lose his mouthguard – not once but twice in a single round. Both times he was handed the mouthpiece by Marc Goddard.

Topuria scored a quick comeback in round 2, scoring a stunning one punch KO that rendered Jai Herbert unresponsive for a significant amount of time. The broadcast even went to a commercial for Herbert to be able to recover.

Topuria went scorched Earth on the crowd favorite Paddy the Baddy Pimblett in his post fight speech, having referred to Paddy with several expletives. The audience wasn’t amused with this call out and booed Topuria through out despite his stunning knock out.
