UFC Fans blown away by spinning back kick at UFC Vegas 65

UFC women’s flyweight contender Natalia Silva surprised fans with an awesome spinning back kick at UFC Vegas 65.

She also displayed spectacular performance during the whole match and was a rare silver lining with the main event falling through during the broadcast.

UFC Vegas 65 was held on November 9. The event was supposed to be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis and Sergey Spivak. However, the headliner had to be canceled due to Lewis’ health problem. Despite the disappointment, the event still provided exciting entertainment with several awesome matchups.

One match that will be hard to forget would be Natalia Silva vs Tereza Bleda. The pair opened the cards and brawled in a fierce battle. Natalia Silva is from the same team as Paulo Costa. Costa was also present during the match as one of her cornermen.

The Brazilian got the upper hand during the starting round. She dominated Bleda, who was undefeated with 6 matches under her belt.

Natalia Silva was leading the scorecard in the first two rounds with significant strikes. The peak of the action was during the first minute of the final round where Silva was more and more dominant. Then, the 25-year-old Brazilian delivered a brutal spinning back kick that landed right on Bleda’s face.

The momentum was quite perfect. Bleda was attempting to duck to avoid the kick but Silva’s leg was coming from a lower direction. The impact made the Czech athlete lose balance and Silva didn’t waste time delivering a combination of punches. The ref halted the match and announced Silva as the winner.

Several fans jumped to Twitter to express how awesome the action was.

“I just got home & walked into seeing Natalia Silva throw a life-altering kick to put away Tereza Bledá. Good start to the card!” One fan wrote.
