UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria is taking his star power from the octagon to the small screen. A new reality series on the UFC star is coming to HBO Max.

The undefeated star (17-0) recently captured the lightweight title with a first-round knockout of Charles Oliveira at UFC 317. This upcoming reality series will give fans a look into his life beyond the cage.

The recently released promotional trailer showcases intimate moments from Topuria’s life, including emotional family scenes and behind-the-scenes footage of his training regimen.

“To pick up your daughter for the first time is impressive,” Topuria says in an emotional moment from the trailer. The series appears to document Topuria’s rise in the UFC, featuring footage from his championship victories. His knockout win over Oliveira is featured as well.

Following his victory at UFC 317, Topuria told the media, “It’s amazing. It’s difficult to explain with simple words. Like, beat guys like Volk [Alexander Volkanovski], Max Holloway, Charles Oliveira. Not many people in the world can say that.”

This reality series will likely capitalize on Topuria’s charismatic personality and growing fame. After his recent championship win, he expressed interest in a showdown with rival Paddy Pimblett.

Additionally, Topuria has been vocal about his dream of bringing the Octagon to Spain. More specifically, he’s set his sights on fighting in Madrid’s iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. With its state-of-the-art retractable roof, the venue is considered a strong contender to host the UFC’s first stadium event since UFC 243 in Australia six years ago.

The exact release date for the show hasn’t been announced, but the series appears to be in production now.
