Tyson Fury confirms clash with winner of Joshua vs Ngannou NEXT YEAR

Following a discussion with His Excellency Turki Alashikh, Fury hinted that the faceoff against the Joshua-Ngannou winner is on the horizon. However, an exclusive interview with Mail Sport unveiled a twist in the timeline. The bout will likely take place in 2025, marking Fury’s potential return to Riyadh in late 2024.

Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision during their match. He also voiced his opinion on who should win the upcoming match between Ngannou and Joshua.

Reflecting on the potential opponents, Fury expressed: “Whoever wins it’s big for me. If AJ wins, it’s a good opportunity for a big British showdown again, and if Ngannou wins, and it’s a good opportunity for a rematch for me.”

“So it’s, it’s a win win for me. Yeah, make no mistake that the winner of this, I will potentially give them a world title shot later on in this year or next.”

Initially scheduled to face Usyk in mid-February, Fury encountered a setback due to a nasty cut. This ended up prompting a postponement in the bout.

During the interview, Fury conveyed optimism about the healing process and affirmed his readiness to ‘fight with the cut’ if necessary.

He said: “Can you not see it? It’s not visible, which is fantastic. It’s healing up nicely. And I shall be ready for the camp at the end of March. Yeah, it was one of those things. S**t happens and we get on with life move on.”
