In recent years, Tommy Fury has amassed substantial wealth through his bouts against social media influencers.
Last month, Fury engaged in a six-round bout against KSI. This match received significant criticism from fans and critics alike.
Despite the lackluster performance, Tommy emerged a victor in financial terms. He pocketed a staggering $10 million for the bout, as disclosed by his brother and boxing icon Tyson Fury.
Tyson recently shared with Ariel Helwani: “The fact that Tommy made $10 million for this fight. He’s 24 years old, has made $25-26 million during his 10-fight career.”
“It’s unbelievable, I’m very very proud of where he’s come, in 2018 Tommy didn’t have $10 for a bus pass, today Tommy has millions of dollars in his account, so I’m very proud of him.”
While Tommy has undoubtedly achieved financial success in his career, he still trails behind the colossal earnings of his elder brother Tyson Fury.
In the upcoming matches against Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury is poised to amass a staggering $200 million. These figures have been revealed by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
Arum confidently stated, “I said Fury, with that [Usyk] fight and the Ngannou fight, in the near future, we’re hoping that he comes in at around $200 million.”
After the bout with KSI, Tommy Fury declared his readiness to go back to conventional boxing and said he was done with influencer boxing. Despite announcing his retirement from the realm of influencer boxing, Fury remains fixated on a potential rematch with Jake Paul.
In a recent interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Tommy Fury stated: “I am the only fight for Jake Paul. Me and Jake Paul are the dance partners and he knows that himself. Me and him will always make a good fight, will always make a big fight. So whenever he’s done with what he’s doing, I’m sure me and him will meet again one day.”
