Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall has officially recorded the hardest punch ever measured at the UFC Institute. He ended up delivering a staggering 215,000 units on their power cube testing system.
To put this extraordinary feat into perspective, UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira registered 190,000 units. It is a full 25,000 units behind Hall’s record-breaking performance.
The revelation came during a unique training session between Hall and karate expert Jesse Enkamp, where the strongman’s incredible punching power was put to the test. “I’ve got the hardest punch ever recorded at the UFC Institute. On the power cube,” Hall confidently stated, before adding, “People can argue that all they want.”
When Enkamp expressed surprise about Hall’s punch being “harder than like real MMA, UFC fighters even,” Hall’s response was emphatic: “Yep, harder than anyone. So I think the second best was Alex Pereira. He hit 190,000 units on this power cube. I hit 215.”
The testing demonstrated just how devastating Hall’s striking power truly is. During a controlled experiment where Hall gradually increased his punch intensity from 20% to 100%, Enkamp experienced firsthand what it means to absorb blows from someone with such extraordinary power. At just 50% intensity, Enkamp noted, “That one knocked the wind out of me. Especially in the solar plexus.”
By the time they reached 100% power, the impact was overwhelming. “That was different! That was hard! That was hard for real!” Enkamp exclaimed, clearly stunned by the force behind Hall’s full-power strike.
What makes Hall’s punching power even more remarkable is that it surpasses fighters who have dedicated their entire careers to perfecting their striking techniques. While UFC athletes train specifically for combat sports and develop their punching mechanics through years of practice, Hall’s raw strength translates into punching power that exceeds even elite professional fighters.
The same power that allowed him to deadlift 500 kilograms now generates punching force that would be devastating in any combat scenario.
