This incident was followed by Strickland calling for a boycott of Harley Davidson for having MGK perform at a concert. Strickland also mocked Fox’s kids for not conforming to gender norms.
In a recent podcast appearance, Strickland revealed that Fox reached out to him in his DMs, expressing her displeasure with his comments. “She hit me up and I was like: ‘Fame level reached,'” Strickland said. “The message was actually really kind of f–ked up, kind of f-cked up. It was more like, ‘Hey, you know what, my kids get bullied, and I get bullied online because you said they’re trans, and like, they’re not trans. They just want to dress like rock stars, ‘a and I’m just like, ‘Sorry, Megan, I’ll shut the f— up about it.'”
Strickland’s comments about Megan Fox’s children sparked outrage, and it’s not surprising that the actress chose to confront him directly. As a mother, she has every right to defend her children from any form of ridicule or bullying, especially when it comes from a public figure.
