Paddy Pimblett slams Dillon Danis after grappling challenge match offer

Dillon Danis is a Bellator competitor and Conor McGregor’s training partner. Recently, he tweeted an invitation for a grappling challenge to Pimblett. The winner gets everything after the two-place money in an escrow.

Danis said on Twitter: “hey @theufcbaddy we both put up 75k each in escrow and do a grappling match winner takes all you in?”

Unsurprisingly, Pimblett slammed Danis for his request right away. He also attacked him for his association with McGregor.

Pimblett responded: “Why u gettin Conor to send u pictures of his money u silly sausage stop embarrassing urself! Why wud I grapple with u? I’ll punch ur f***ing head in for u if I see u ya soft c**t.”

Danis is trying to get Pimblett into a jiu jitsu bout. However, it doesn’t appear like Pimblett is all that interested.

While Danis is somewhat of a joke in MMA – he’s more than respectable when it comes to jiu jitsu. However, the match doesn’t appear probable at this time.

Pimblett doubled down on his approach subsequently addressing Danis’ arrest and saying:
“Yer man my first pro loss when I was 18 bro didnt tap went to sleep like a warrior but 1 quick question, how can u say ur one of ur best grapplers in the world when someone whos not even a pro fighter choked u unconscious when u was screaming“do u know who I am”
@dillondanis”

Paddy Pimblett currently has a record of 18-3. In his third UFC showing, Pimblett will make a return against Jordan Leavitt at UFC London.

Prior to this match, he defeated Luigi Vendramini by KO in his first match. Pimblett then defeated Kazula Vargas through first-round submission. Both Vendramini and Vargas have since been released from the UFC.

Dillon Danis hasn’t competed since June 2019. He defeated Kyle Walker at Bellator 198 and Max Humphrey in the first round of Bellator 222. Danis hasn’t fought since due to a knee reconstruction he had to undergo twice, however. Danis continues to criticize other competitors to keep himself in the limelight.
