Paddy Pimblett goes in on Arman Tsarukyan, Arman responds

UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett didn’t hold back when discussing Arman Tsarukyan, leading to a swift and equally pointed response from the Armenian-Russian fighter.

During a recent podcast appearance, Pimblett characterized Tsarukyan as “a little posh boy who’s had everything handed to him on a silver platter by his dad” and questioned the legitimacy of Tsarukyan’s reported injury that led to a withdrawn bout.

“He’s a little b*tch ass. That’s what you are, Arman. Little boy,” Pimblett stated bluntly on the podcast.

The Liverpool native went on to reference UFC President Dana White’s comments about Tsarukyan’s situation, suggesting that White had essentially “shot him down” in an interview. According to Pimblett, White indicated that medical professionals at the UFC Performance Institute never declared Tsarukyan unfit to compete.

“He basically said that, like, doctors come out and head her, the best masseuse in the PI, come out and they never said to him, you can’t fight. He decided he’s not going to fight,” Pimblett recounted.

The Liverpudlian then concluded with a crude metaphor about Tsarukyan backing out of his commitment: “So, basically, Arman, you shit your pants. Know what I mean? That’s what you did.”

Tsarukyan didn’t let these comments go unanswered, firing back on social media with equal intensity.

“Says the guy who got the easiest path to the top in UFC just because he’s got a funny accent and budget Beatles haircut,” Tsarukyan responded on Twitter. “I dare you to call me out if you win and we will see who will shit his pants in the octagon when we meet clown,” he added, directly challenging Pimblett.

This escalating war of words adds another layer of intrigue to the UFC’s lightweight division, which is already one of the most competitive weight classes in the organization. Both fighters have been working their way up the rankings, though taking very different paths to recognition.

It’s clear that the animosity is genuine and growing. With both fighters known for their distinctive styles both in and outside the octagon, a potential future confrontation would certainly generate significant interest among MMA enthusiasts.
