OF star Sammy-Jo Luxton goes 2-0 in MMA after cancer scare

Sammy-Jo Luxton is a prominent figure in both the MMA and adult entertainment industries. She recently made headlines not just for her victories in the ring but also for her empowering message of body positivity.

Luxton is fresh off a win against Agata Truskolaska in a Full Contact Contender event.

Luxton’s dominance in the octagon was evident as she secured her second consecutive victory with a head kick. She ended up defeating Truskolaska a mere 18 seconds into the bout. Luxton weighed in at 125lbs (57kg) for the flyweight contest.

Following her intense bout, Luxton embarked on a well-deserved holiday in southeast Asia. During her vacation, she embraced the freedom to indulge and allowed herself to savor the local delicacies without reservation.

As a result, Luxton experienced a significant weight gain of 23lbs, equivalent to 10 kilos. She proudly shared her transformation with her social media following.

She recently posted a picture of her along with the caption: “Two weeks ago for my fight – 125lbs. Currently in Thailand eating noodles and ice cream for breakfast – 147lbs. She’s fat and happy.”

Luxton’s journey to success has been marked by resilience and determination. With a background in Muay Thai, she boasts over 70 victories in that field.

She made her boxing debut last year on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition match against Aaron Chalmers.

She soon joined the PFL and was scheduled to make her stage debut in Paris in September, but she had to withdraw due to a skin cancer diagnosis.

Luxton stopped Jodie Gormley in the first round of her much anticipated MMA debut for FightKLB in December after receiving treatment.
