Negotiations fall through – Mayweather No Longer Boxing Dubai’s richest kid

Floyd Mayweather was expected to have an exhibition boxing match against the millionaire Youtuber Money Kicks.

Rashid Belhassa is Dubai’s richest youngster, with a social media following in the millions, and now he has gone and bought a Rolls Royce Ghost which he then customized in Dior wrapping.

The fight was set to take place on February 20 on top of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai on a helipad.

There is no official statement from Floyd Mayweather or Money Kicks regarding this yet. However, some sources from ‘Mirror’ have confirmed that the talks have collapsed and the fight will no longer happen. Both parties failed to reach the terms and the fight had to be canceled.

Floyd Mayweather has said that he wants to fight in the UAE to show off his talent to the people of the Middle East . He is likely to find another opponent for the exhibition on the same date. However, with little time, no opponent has been confirmed.

During a press conference last month  Mayweather expressed his excitement for boxing in front of the people of the Middle East.

“It’s always been a goal of mine to come to the UAE and put on a show and display my talent for the people in the Middle East,” said Mayweather.

He added, “We may do more than one fight, we wanna give the people some entertainment. I don’t like to call what I’m doing a fight, I like to call it a limited edition boxing showcase. It’s bigger than just boxing.”

If the fight happens, it could be Mayweather’s third exhibition boxing fight. He previously fought Tenshin Nasukawa and Logan Paul.

As for Money Kicks, he is likely to fight within Tam Khan’s Social Knockout promotion when it returns this year.

Money Kicks, born Reshad Belhasa, is a son of a billionaire in UAE. He got his fame throughout YouTube and social media by showcasing his sneakers and luxury cars. He is well-known to hang out with top celebrities such as Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Rihanna.
