Mr Beast catches a stray: Turki Alalshikh wants Jake Paul vs. MrBeast for the “Disney Youtube belt”

In an unexpected twist following the announcement of Canelo Alvarez’s four-fight deal with Riyadh Season, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, took aim at popular content creator MrBeast.

After securing the prestigious agreement with boxing superstar Canelo, Alalshikh playfully suggested an alternative matchup between social media personalities Jake Paul and MrBeast, proposing it could be sanctioned “with Disney for the build of the YouTube.”

“Let them bring MrBeast and we can sanction it with Disney for the build of the YouTube and everyone will subscribe and see it. Jake Paul versus MrBeast. Everyone will see it,” Alalshikh said.

The comments came after Alalshikh had dismissed the possibility of a Jake Paul versus Canelo matchup, stating, “Canelo only fights real fighters.” He further emphasized this point by declaring, “Don’t mess with the lion… A Lion doesn’t lose sleep over opinion of a sheep… Fear the lion not the jungle.”

While MrBeast, known for his philanthropic content and elaborate YouTube productions, has never expressed interest in boxing, Jake Paul has established himself in the sport with multiple professional bouts. The theoretical matchup would pit Paul’s boxing experience against MrBeast’s massive following of over 230 million subscribers across his channels.

Meanwhile, Canelo’s actual schedule has been confirmed, with his first appearance under the Riyadh Season banner set for May in Saudi Arabia, followed by a September clash with Terence Crawford in Las Vegas, and two more events in Riyadh through October 2026.

The suggestion of a MrBeast versus Jake Paul encounter, while seemingly made in jest, has already sparked social media discussion about the potential viewership numbers such an unusual pairing might generate.
