Metal singer Alex the Terrible won a bare knuckle boxing match at Topdog

Alex Terrible is a Russian heavy metal vocalist and frontman for deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail. He recently emerged victorious in a bare-knuckle boxing contest at Topdog FC in Russia.

The match was described by spectators as an “absolute war.” It showcased Terrible’s determination beyond his musical talents. This victory follows his impressive bare-knuckle debut in January, where he dispatched his opponent in approximately 12 seconds.

“My all face is broken and I have Pneumocephalus,” Terrible shared on social media following the match. “Old school bare knuckle on @topdogfight. And I broke his jaw. We put a goddamn good fight, I believe.”

Despite the physical toll, Terrible displayed remarkable resilience throughout the contest. His opponent, identified as “Pitbuelll” on social media is a former rugby player. He proved to be a worthy adversary in what fans called a legendary exchange.

The atmosphere was electric, with the crowd erupting in cheers throughout the match. One spectator, identified as semochkin_tv on social media, commented: “The moment with the exchange in the first round was legendary. Respect to these 2 gladiators. I was in the stands, meat was being made, I lost my voice. These emotions are for a lifetime.”

While some observers felt the match could have been scored a draw, judges awarded the victory to Terrible.

Terrible’s transition from music to combat sports has been impressive. Prior to his combat sports career, he gained viral attention for a video featuring him wrestling a bear.

The Slaughter to Prevail frontman, whose band boasts over 1.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, has successfully channeled his on-stage intensity into the boxing ring.

“I’m here living my best f**king life and if I will die in the fight I will not regret,” Terrible stated.

The match demonstrated excellent sportsmanship between the metal hardcore community and the combat sports community, with fans from both worlds appreciating the spectacle and determination shown by both competitors.

With this victory, Alex Terrible continues to build his reputation as more than just a musician, proving that his warrior spirit extends well beyond the concert stage.
