Logan Paul takes a jab at CM Punk: He’s 0-2 in the UFC, and I beat Floyd Mayweather, so I deserve the title

Logan Paul is once again making headlines, this time taking aim at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with a pointed jab at CM Punk’s UFC record.

During a recent WWE appearance in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, the social media star-turned-wrestler made his case for why he deserves a title shot, questioning the logic behind current championship holders in the wrestling promotion.

“If a guy who’s 0 and 2 in the UFC has that title and I beat Floyd Mayweather, why can’t I get that title?” Paul declared, referencing his high-profile boxing exhibition against the legendary Floyd Mayweather while taking a shot at CM Punk.

The statement came as Paul made a surprise appearance on WWE programming, positioning himself as a contender for the World Heavyweight Championship currently held by CM Punk.

Paul’s appearance wasn’t without drama. After confronting CM Punk in the ring, things quickly escalated when Braun Strowman entered the picture. What started as Paul’s attempt to assert himself as a championship contender devolved into chaos, with the social media personality finding himself on the receiving end of an attack.

“That did not go as planned,” Paul admitted afterward, describing how Braun pushed him, causing him to hit his head on the ring wall, followed by a kick that left him worse for wear.

Despite the rough night, Paul remained confident in his approach, describing his actions as strategic. “That was a chess move. That was a four-dimensional chess move,” he said, suggesting his confrontation was part of a larger plan to position himself for championship gold.

The WWE appearance came on the heels of significant legal news for Paul. The Cryptozoo class action lawsuit against him was officially dismissed, with all 27 claims thrown out by a federal judge.
