Logan Paul sues Ryan Garcia for defamation after PED Test B sample Comes Back Positive

Logan Paul and Ryan Garcia have had a controversial relationship for a while, but Prime Hydration’s recent lawsuit against Garcia has escalated their feud.

Prime Hydration is a sports drink company co-owned by Logan Paul. It announced on May 23, 2024, that it is suing Ryan Garcia for ‘spreading lies’ about the drink and Paul.

The lawsuit alleges that Garcia was once on good terms with Prime. He has since publicly attacked the brand, damaging their previously amicable relationship.

The lawsuit highlights Garcia’s unpredictable behavior, noting that the Victorville native has a history of attacking high-profile individuals and brands to stir up controversy. In recent months, Garcia has made several disparaging remarks about Prime Hydration. He advised his one million followers on X not to consume the beverage, citing various supposed health risks.

Following his victory over Devin Haney on April 20, Garcia quickly took another jab at Prime. He ended up attributing Haney’s loss to his association with the company.

Garcia posted on X shortly after his upset win: “This is why you don’t drink Prime, but respect to Haney for getting up every time”

However, the tables turned when the boxing commission announced that Garcia had failed a PED test both the day before and the day of his match with Haney.

VADA confirmed Garcia’s positive test, detecting the banned substance Ostarine in both his A-sample and B-sample.

The lawsuit against Garcia follows closely on the heels of Paul’s threats to sue Doctor Daniel Pompa for spreading “misinformation” about Prime Hydration. Paul cited a 2023 lawsuit against the company and fired back with multiple videos. He stated that Prime was “considering suing [Pompa] for the millions of dollars of damage” caused by his negative commentary about the drink.

He later went live on the platform, calling Garcia a “pathetic weasel” for allegedly fabricating messages in response to the Prime lawsuit.
