Khabib lends name to spectacular new gym

In the realm of mixed martial arts, few names resonate as powerfully as Khabib Nurmagomedov’s.

Despite hanging up his gloves after a victorious bout against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in 2020, Khabib’s presence continues to loom large as he appears in public events and talk shows. His strategic brand partnerships with companies like Reebok, Gorilla Energy Drink, and Toyota have bolstered his fortune.

Not long ago, Khabib unveiled ambitious plans to establish a network of gyms. The MMA icon now prioritises family time over coaching or competing. He seeks to diversify his entrepreneurial pursuits and solidify his standing as a dominant force in combat sports globally.

A recent video displaying Khabib’s new gym in Abu Dhabi, UAE, was made public. Some fans believe that the gym can rival the UFC Performance Institute due to the extensive range of amenities it provides.

Khabib’s Gym offers a holistic training experience, boasting an array of amenities for both MMA and Jiu Jitsu training. Beyond martial arts, the facility houses a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art gym. It includes a sauna room and open area.

For MMA competitors and coaches from all around the globe, the UFC Performance Institute was founded in Las Vegas in 2017. The second Performance Institute opened its doors in 2019 in Shanghai, China. For the MMA icon, the comparison between his facility and the $12 million UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas is pretty significant.

The activities of Khabib Nurmagomedov extend beyond the MMA world and his gyms. With an estimated net worth of $40 million, he has demonstrated astute financial acumen by diversifying his investments across various sectors.

One of his most notable entrepreneurial endeavors is his MMA promotion, formerly known as Gorilla Fighting Championship. He then rebranded it as Eagle FC after purchasing it for $1 million.

The retired competitor has also ventured into the culinary world with his fast-food restaurant chain, ‘M-Eat by Khabib.’ Moreover, he recently added a coffee shop to his growing portfolio in Makhachkala, Dagestan.

Leveraging his status as an athlete, Nurmagomedov launched ‘Fitroo By Khabib.’ It is a brand specializing in protein bars with an assortment of flavors. Currently targeting the UAE market, this venture has expanded to include various other products as well.
