Joe Rogan weighs in on Fury vs Paul: Jake Paul is 100% legit, He’s conning you with the antics

Tommy Fury had a lot to lose going into his main event against Jake Paul .Fury is the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and a second generation boxer.

There was talk of Fury having to denounce his name, residing in UK and boxing if he lost. Not to mention the discussed ‘winner takes all’ bet that didn’t actually materialize.

Fury won the eight-round boxing bout by split decision with one judging scoring the event for Paul 75-74 and the other two for Fury, both by a score of 76-73. A rematch clause was a part of the contract so it’s likely we’ll see them face each other again.

And on the latest episode of Joe Rogan Experience, UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan shared what he thought of the contest:

” I thought it was a very good fight.”

“It’s it confirmed two things that I’ve been saying for a long time. One, Jake Paul is 100% legit. People to think he’s not legit. He’s conning you. He’s conning you with his antics.”

“He’s conning you with his his online persona and the s**t talking and the marketing”

“…when I watch him move around. It’s a hundred percent legit when I saw him knock out Tyron Woodley. I’m like that is a f***ing dangerous man.”

Rogan previously backed Tommy Fury as a legitimate boxer when Dave Portnoy questioned his abilities. Portnoy is repentant and has issued a public apology to Fury following this past weekend.

“As a leader of men I need to take accountability for the worst prediction of my life. I’ve never been more wrong about anything ever. Tommy Fury proved me wrong. I didn’t think he had a shot in hell. @joerogan was right. We need more leaders in this country who will admit when they are a moron. Today I am that leader/moron. Credit to me for admitting that”

Previously Portnoy pledged he would quit combat sports if he was proven wrong about Fury.
