Joe Rogan Shames Female Gym-Goers For Going To The Gym Scantily Clad

Joe Rogan weighed in on the debate over women’s gym clothing and the controversy surrounding Shane Gillis’ SNL joke during an episode of JRE featuring guest Cody Tucker.

Rogan read Casey Anthony’s statement, in which she defended women’s freedom to dress however they want and condemned men who criticize their clothing choices.

“Women can dress however they want. Women in the gym can dress however they want. Men who have opinions about how women dress need to all the way go themselves. This toxic masculinity trend needs to end. These fragile men need to get out of the way of women in totality,” the statement read.

Rogan took issue with Anthony weighing in on the controversy, questioning her own moral standing before addressing the broader debate.

“This lady ended her kid,” he said. “And she feels like she could take the moral high ground and chime in about a joke on Saturday Night Live.”

However, Rogan made it clear that he had no problem with women wearing revealing clothing at the gym. He acknowledged that some outfits leave little to the imagination, particularly during exercises that involve bending over.

“It’s kind of crazy. I mean, I’ve seen ladies at the gym that wear essentially sheer pink, really small shorts with no underwear on and they’re doing deadlifts. And when they’re bending over they’re sticking their [ ] with the thinnest of cloth out into the air,” Rogan said.

Tucker responded with a joke of his own, saying, “Oh, I knew one of them was pregnant before she did.”

Despite pointing out how revealing some gym outfits can be, Rogan stressed that he was not arguing that women should dress differently.

“I have no problem with women dressing like that. Have fun. God bless you. If you have a great body, especially, show it off to the world. Who cares?” he said.

Tucker then compared women’s gym clothing to the way men dress to show off their physiques, arguing that both genders sometimes choose outfits specifically to draw attention to their bodies.

“And don’t be afraid to admit that that’s what you’re doing because that’s what guys do. You know, there’s no reason to wear a sleeveless shirt versus a sleeve shirt in the gym. You’re wearing a sleeveless shirt cuz you want people to see your arms,” Tucker said.
