Jake Paul Trying To Box Floyd Mayweather

Jake Paul seems reluctant to fulfil his promise and box former UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley again.

Seeing how Logan Paul survived an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather, Logan is looking to gain some clout off of the retired boxer in another exhibition. To Mayweather’s credit, he’s sure to be a much bigger money draw than Woodley and considering he’s retired if he were to somehow lose it wouldn’t go on his spotless record.

Back when Logan was boxing Mayweather MMA analyst Jack Slack made a particularly interesting observation:

This makes it somewhat interesting – will Mayweather be game to face off against the better Paul boxer? The financial incentive is certainly there. After all even Mike Tyson would be down for the challenge. That being said Mayweather spent his lifetime boxing upto 150lbs while the Pauls each respectively have around 190lbs – far cry from Tyson who is weighing in at 220lbs.

According to Paul he’s messaged Mayweather about an actual weighted pro fight, unlike his brothers which didn’t declare a winner, but “it isn’t happening,” according to talkSPORTS report.

“I don’t do exhibitions, I told Floyd, I actually messaged him and I said ‘Yo, if you want to do a real pro fight at a weight class, then let’s do it,” Jake told the site. “But I think he’s going to retire and that’s probably what’s best for him because my brother is a great fighter, but I’m just built different.”

Mayweather might be incentivized to accept after all he’s had a very widely publicized scuff with Jake.

During a special media day presentation, Jake Paul grabbed Mayweather’s hat and chaos ensued. The altercation took place for what seemed like minutes.
