Jake Paul recently revealed his return to the boxing ring, but the identity of his opponent remains a mystery for now.
Jake Paul stands as one of the most prominent influencer boxers in the industry. With an impressive record of 7 wins and 1 loss (including 4 knockout victories), Paul has undeniably left an indelible mark on the influencer boxing world. His prowess even garnered admiration from legendary figures like Mike Tyson.
After a series of wins against both professional athletes and fellow influencers, Paul faced his first defeat earlier this year at the hands of British boxer and reality TV personality Tommy Fury. However, he swiftly made a stunning comeback in August by knocking out Nate Diaz and securing a victory.
Following his brother Logan Paul’s widely celebrated win against Dillon Danis on October 14, Jake Paul announced his return to the ring which is slated for this December.
As per the announcement from Most Valuable Promotions, the much-anticipated match is scheduled for December 15, 2023.
At present, the identity of Jake’s opponent remains under wraps. According to MVP’s official statement, the revelation of his next rival is set to occur after the Serrano vs Ramos match on October 27.
Given Jake Paul’s history of feuds with various athletes and content creators, the list of potential opponents is extensive. Notably, Dillon Danis openly challenged Jake for a match after his loss to Logan.
Dillon boldly stated that he would consider retirement if he faced another defeat.
Fans have begun speculations surrounding Jake’s next opponent. Many are hopeful that the upcoming bout will be the long-rumoured Jake Paul vs. KSI showdown that the two influencers have been hinting at for years.
KSI, Matt Riddle and Derek Brunson are speculated to be in the running with some going so far as to suggest Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal seems the most interesting of the bunch but also the most likely because he inked a new UFC deal prior to retirement in 2022.
Now it remains to be seen what is in store for Jake Paul’s new matchup. Will he keep competing against former MMA icons, or is he brave enough to face a real boxer this time?
