Georges St-Pierre’s coach all but confirms he believes Adesanya’s flabby pectoral linked to PED use

Israel Adesanya was recently spotted again with a visibly swollen asymmetrical chest ahead of his showdown at UFC 281. The reigning middleweight champion got mercilessly mocked by fans and accused of using PEDs with the re-emergence of the medical condition.

Gynecomastia is an abnormal non-cancerous enlargement of one or both breasts in males due to the growth of breast tissue as a result of a hormone imbalance between estrogen and androgen.

Many in BJJ, MMA and bodybuilding communities link it to PED use because it’s typically a sign of having not cycled properly.

Georges St-Pierre is well known as a UFC great. St-Pierre was also rumored to have retired due to the fact MMA had no PED abuse monitoring systems at the time.

His famed coach recently weighed in on Adesanya’s ‘new look’.

“Guys, I find it incredibly strange. Like, for me, I’ve only ever seen… Guys get punched in the chest all the time. I’ve never seen a guy walk in the ring, walk out with an inflamed breast.”

“In my mind, there’s only one reason for this. There’s only one group that has this problem, there’s only one group. What other possibility could there be?”

“People are putting pictures of him in the earlier years, he doesn’t have it, doesn’t have it, then all of a sudden, boom, he’s got it. And for me I have no explanation guys. I have no idea. It’s very suspicious. Very suspicious to me.” He added.

But Zahabi might not want to hurl stones in a glass house. Back in 2017 when GSP unretired for his title shot against Bisping he was spotted with what’s commonly known as distended gut.

This is also commonly considered as a sign of PED use – but this might not have been the case considering St-Pierre’s tests came clean after he faced Bisping and managed to get the title shot.
