Former boxing champion confuses netizens with ‘weird’ video of him fangirling over Mike Tyson’s hands

Former unified light-welterweight world champion Amir Khan left fans surprised during an event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There he was seen alongside the legendary boxer Mike Tyson. This gathering was for Tyson Fury’s much-anticipated crossover heavyweight bout against Francis Ngannou.

In a video shared on his page, Khan engaged Tyson in conversation. He asked about the number of opponents Tyson had knocked out. While doing so, Khan held onto the hands of the former heavyweight champion.

While gently rubbing Tyson’s right hand, Khan said: “These are the hands of the main man. Mike, how many people did you knock out with these?”

Tyson responded with a smirk, “I don’t know, 48 [in the ring] but like 200 in the street!”

But Khan’s motion of massaging Tyson’s hand in the 20-second footage confused many. The interaction left fans perplexed.

Taking to social media, one fan on X commented, “Weird guy Amir.”

Another questioned, “Why did he hold his hand for so long?!”

A third expressed their confusion, writing: “What is he doing 😭😭.”

A fourth fan found humor in the situation, stating: “Amir Khan is so funny man 🤣”

Another remarked, “Weirdest thing av ever seen.”

Tyson took on the role of a coach, imparting his wisdom to Ngannou for his bout against Fury. The UFC icon managed to bring WBC champion Fury down in the third round, yet controversially lost the math by split decision in Fury’s favor.

Post-bout, Fury remained tight-lipped about his potential showdown against Oleksandr Usyk for a unified heavyweight title clash scheduled for December 2023. Promoter Frank Warren later hinted that the bout might face a delay, possibly pushing it to February.

In addition to these intriguing moments, Khan was captured alongside the renowned rapper Eminem. The event saw the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kanye West in attendance, adding to the star-studded affair.
