Female Fitness Influencer Turns Into Bro After Copious Amounts Of PEDs

A woman who identified as a fitness enthusiast documented her anabolic roid cycle on a public forum, detailing a protocol that was described by fitness experts as particularly aggressive.

The post chronicles a 31-year-old woman, standing 5’7″ and weighing 150 lbs (68 kg), who decided to run Anavar after taking four months off from training. Her stated goal was to “add some mass to my delts and legs while losing body fat at the same time,” with a specific desire for “big meaty quads, the type that you can see bulging from my gal’s tights.”

What made the cycle particularly alarming was the dosing. She started at 10mg of Anavar per day with plans to ramp up to 20mg, 30mg, and ultimately 40 to 50mg daily. For context, natural androgen production in women is considerably lower, meaning even relatively small daily doses of an anabolic roid can represent a substantial increase over normal physiological levels.

She purchased her Anavar from a friend, admitting she “was not 100% comfortable with it.” That concern is significant because products sold as Anavar on the underground market may not always contain the substance or dosage claimed on the label. The possibility of substitution with cheaper or more androgenic compounds adds another layer of risk.

On top of the aggressive androgen dose, she stockpiled Accutane as a precaution against anticipated acne. Combining a potentially liver-toxic acne medication with an anabolic roid that can also affect liver health adds unnecessary strain and illustrates the risks involved in attempting to manage side effects after they appear.

Within the first week, physical changes arrived quickly. She reported her breast size dropping from a full C cup to a B cup. She was also experiencing spotting despite not normally having periods, indicating that the cycle was already affecting her hormonal system before the dosage had been increased further. By week three, she noted increased appetite, growing strength, and heightened aggression during her workouts.

The forum post has also led to speculation about the identity of the woman involved. Some have suggested she may have been female bodybuilder and fitness influencer Larissa Reis, whose Instagram activity dates back to May 2012, around the same period as the forum posts.

Reis has competed in bodybuilding and is known for having a notably deep voice, which has been cited as a possible example of virilization associated with prolonged androgenic use.
