Fans roast Joe Rogan for looking ‘baked’ on duty at UFC 277

Joe Rogan has long been the biggest fan of weed and has advocated for decriminalization for ages. In fact back in the heyday of the podcast, opposing this was one of the only ways to piss off happy-go-lucky Rogan.

Since then, Rogan had relocated to Texas and adopted some more conservative beliefs mostly while faced with the rigorous pandemic restrictions California imposed upon its citizens. Rogan had the pleasure of commentating on a UFC PPV event held in his new ‘home state’ over the past weekend.

The event took place on July 30, 2022, at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Rogan once again showed up in a crisp white shirt and tie but some fans found his demeanor slightly ‘off’.

Fans for sufficiently amused considering that Rogan has been adamantly opposed to men wearing ties for ages.

oe Rogan has been with the biggest MMA promotion for almost two decades. The 54-year-old has been doing backstage and post-fight interviews since 1997. With his first show being UFC 12: Judgement Day. And even before that, Rogan has been a huge fan of MMA and has already trained Brazilian Jiu jitsu since1994.

His commentary career started in 2001, when he became friends with Dana White who was later chosen to be the president of the company. When White became the UFC kingpin in 2002, he asked Rogan to try commentating UFC fights. During one of the episodes of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan explained how he almost refused the life-changing opportunity.
