Reigning IBF bantamweight world champion Ebanie Bridges is gearing up for her upcoming bout with the perfect sparring partner by her side.
Since her win against fellow Australian Shannon O’Connell in December of last year, the IBF bantamweight world champion has not engaged in competition. O’Connell was stopped by Bridges in the eighth round in a bout that turned out to be an absolute slugfest.
Battling a hand injury for nearly a year, Bridges is now back in her element. She is currently focused on preparing for her impending title defense against Avril Mathie. To make sure she is ready to defend her title, she has turned to training with Jasmina Zapotoczna.
Hailing from Poland but currently based in Yorkshire, the 29-year-old Zapotoczna is in the early stages of a promising boxing career. With a record of five wins all earned through points, she recently won against Kira Carter in Oldham.
Prepping for an intense match against Gemma Ruegg on December 8 in Bournemouth, Zapotoczna is also amassing a considerable following on Instagram.
Sharing rigorous training sessions and engaging in interactive sessions with their fans, Zapotoczna and Bridges have both built strong social media followings. Additionally, she often posts bold pictures of herself in lingerie.
Bridges also likes to turn heads by donning some of the riskiest weigh-in outfits in the game. During her most recent weigh-in, she wore a see-through lingerie set, causing boxing promoter Eddie Hearn to turn away in awkward shame.
Zapotoczna still has ways to go before she can match Bridges’ levels of social media fame. The IBF champion has an incredible 809,000 Instagram followers, and there are no indications that this rise will slow down.
But it seems like Bridges takes pleasure in interacting and working with others. As Bridges and Zapotoczna continue to spar and produce great content, their fame is expected to grow and captivate a wider audience.
