Dillon Danis shares hilarious Conor McGregor story while hailing the Irishman as “best fighter ever”

Controversial mixed martial artist Dillon Danis shared a hilarious moment with his former teammate Conor McGregor. Danis also regarded the UFC star as “the greatest ever”.

Previously, Dillon Danis had to answer to a series of people questioning if he’s even still friends with McGregor.

McGregor rebuffed the rumors he’s on the outs with Danis.

Dillon Danis is known by most as Conor McGregor’s bjj coach and sparring partner. He made headlines mostly during the build-up to Khabib Nurmagomedov headliner UFC 229 back in 2018.

He has always been a troublemaker in the MMA space. He has ongoing feuds with many athletes and famous figures including MMA insiders Ariel Helwani and Ali Abdelaziz.

Nowadays, Danis has become a viral sensation thanks to his controversies and feuds with internet celebrities.

Recently, Dillon Danis recalled a story in 2016 when the Irishman was preparing for a rematch with Nate Diaz. In a video uploaded to his Twitter account, Danis explained how McGregor’s influence affected him and how he admired McGregor so much.

“I learned so much watching him [Conor McGregor] and learning how he deals with certain situations and how calm he is and he’s just a different animal.”

“Funny story, it was the night before the [second] Diaz fight. I think he was getting a haircut and I was like, ‘Man, I’m not gonna lie. I’m kind of nervous.’ He said, ‘Why are you nervous?. I’m gonna slap him [Diaz] around.’… He’s definitely, in my opinion, the best fighter ever.” Danis said.

Dillon Danis is set to face a famous UK Youtuber called ‘KSI’, who had several successful exhibition boxing matches. The pair will exchange blows in January of next year at the MF & DAZN X Series 004 event. The event will be held in London, England at the OVO Arena.
