The problematic BJJ ace Dillon Danis challenged the former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. Danis wants to fight the UFC veteran in a street fight where there are no rules and ref.
Dillon Danis was responding to Michael Bisping’s statement regarding his inability to fight in a street fight. During a recent live Q&A, Bisping took a shot at ‘El Jefe’. He believes Danis’ Jiu jitsu skill won’t help in a street fight.
“Dillon Danis, you shoot for a man’s leg on the street, I’m gonna stomp on your head. And, by the way, someone else is probably gonna run up and boot you in the face. You’re on the floor, you’re about to go for an Omoplata? Someone just stomps your f*cking head. There you go, jiu-jitsu that, you know what I mean? Bisping said.
Dillon Danis took to his Twitter account to prove Bisping’s claim. He even mentioned Bisping’s lost eye.
“Hey [Bisping] why don’t we put this to the test 100k to you if I lose. you one eyed b*tch.” Danis said.
Previously, Michael Bisping was also made fun of Dillon Danis for getting choked by a security guard during an event. During an interview on Youtube, the 42-year-old man was astonished by how Dillon Danis let the man choke him.
“The guy isn’t even a full time security man, he’s not a full time bouncer. He’s actually a chocolatier, that’s what he does for a living. The guy is a f*cking chocolatier, he’s a master of chocolates, that’s what he does and he was short on cash so he was doing a few hours as a doorman. He’s never done jiu-jitsu, he’s done a little bit of Krav Maga.” Bisping said.
Michael Bisping retired in 2017 after competing in professional MMA since 2004, fighting the likes of Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva. The former champion is currently active as a commentator for the UFC.
As for Dillon Danis, he is competing under Bellator MMA and only fought twice within the promotion. He hasn’t fought since 2019 after winning his two fights. However, Danis might actually return to the cage anytime soon. Bellator MMA President Scott Coker revealed that the 28-year-old has been texting him to discuss his return.
“He’s been texting me all weekend and saying he wants to get back in, he’s ready to get back in. So as soon as I get back home, I’m going to call him, we’re going to see if we can put something together for him. But it’s going to be up to him. He’s going to have to really want it. He’s going to [have to] train and get in there.” Scott said.
