Dana White Responds To Jake Paul’s Challenge

Dana White seems to be enjoying his back and forth with Youtube’s biggest star turned boxer. Paul appears to have made a boxing career out of annoying UFC president Dana White.

Just last week Paul challenged UFC fighters Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. Admittedly Paul was more serious about Masvidal jabbing at him about how “Daddy Dana” wouldn’t let him box. If Masvidal is to be believed to money offered was far too low and UFC would make it happen for the right price.

In addition to this Paul has also called out Dana White for allegedly using coke repeatedly. He even went so far as to dress up as White for Halloween.

This is of course – a real headline.

White recently made an appearance on the podcast of celebrated boxing coach Teddy Atlas.

“I got a challenge for Jake Paul,” White said, according to MMA Junkie. “This guy keeps saying that I’m a coke head. He can randomly cocaine test me for the next 10 years if I can randomly steroid test him for the next two.”

Paul (5-0) has previously denied using PEDs – but he was also reluctant to agree to be tested in the prelude to Tommy Fury fight.

White went on to say:

“No (scenario I’d let Diaz or Masvidal box Paul while under UFC contract),” White said. “You notice how he wants to fight f–king everybody that’s not in his weight class, guys that are older and all this bulls–t. Go fight a boxer. Go hump somebody else’s leg, you goofball.”

Paul responded with his own challenge:

“Happy new year Dana White, Here is a real challenge for you…

I will immediately retire from boxing and fight Jorge Masvidal in the UFC if you agree to:

Increase min fighter pay per fight to $50k (it’s $12k now)
Guarantee UFC fighters 50% of UFC annual revenues ($1bn in 2021)
Provide long term healthcare to all fighters (you previously said  brain damage is part of the gig… imagine the NFL said that ). There are many UFC alums who have publicly said they are suffering from brain damage

You have 5 days to accept and implement the above by March 31, 2022. Once implemented I will immediately retire from boxing, enter USADA and agree to a 1 fight deal with UFC to fight weak chin Jorge.

To all UFC fighters — time to take a stand and create value for yourselves and peers. You deserve higher pay, you deserve long term healthcare and above all you deserve freedom. Support each other.

I am not your enemy, I am your advocate…who selfishly wants to KO a few of you to make some big bank.”

Of course Paul’s latest challenge makes valid points in regards to UFC fighter pay – however it’s clear to everyone under the Sun this is nothing but a publicity ploy.

Now White is responding – yet again:

“Jake, you never responded to the challenge,” White said in the video. “You publicly stated that I use cocaine. I do not.”

“I believe that you are a cheater,” the UFC president continued. “And I believe that you use steroids.”

Then, White turned his attention to Paul’s tweet. “And that thing that you came out with today, nobody on Earth thinks that you really wrote that,” White said. “You’re too stupid.”

Of course social media users were the first to point out that White might not be as clean cut as he makes himself out to be:

Paul also has a peculiar connection to the UFC. Paul is reportedly managed by Nakisa Bidarian. Nakisa Bidarian used to work for the UFC as chief financial officer (CFO) and helped the promotion sell for 4 billion in 2016.

“That guy used to be an accountant for me,” White said. “And let’s just say this, he no longer works for me and I think he’s a scumbag.”
