Dana White explains how Jake Paul’s too big to ever box Conor McGregor

UFC president Dana White conclusively shattered Jake Paul’s dreams of a Conor McGregor boxing match.

The 25 year old Youtube sensation-turned boxer has been very vocal about this being his biggest goal.  of facing former two-division champion, Conor McGregor.

Paul recently offered to fight McGregor in the UFC, but UFC president again refused to entertain the idea. Dana White rebuffed the Paul brothers during his appearance on Logan Paul podcast ‘IMPAULSIVE’.

While talking to Jake’s brother Logan Paul, Dana discussed the  optics of Jake Paul who stands at around 6 feet 1 and weighs 210 pounds wanting to fight Conor McGregor who fights at 145lbs and has never fought above 170 pounds.

“Well, he shouldn’t even be fighting Conor McGregor,” White said. “These guys [the Pauls] are f****** huge. [Logan] is huge, his brother [Jake] is huge. What’s your brother, 6-foot-1, 210 [pounds]? Conor McGregor is 145, 155 pounds. … There’s weight classes for a reason.

“Do you think [Jake] could make ‘70?” White continued, asking Logan Paul directly.

“I don’t think so,” Logan Paul replied.

“Yeah, exactly,” White said. “And it’s a stretch for Conor to fight at 170. He fought Nate [Diaz] at ‘70, that isn’t his f****** weight class, not even close.”

Jake Paul wasted no time responding to Dana’s onslaught.

“Dana White is begging for Diaz and Conor to fight for the third time. They have fought at 170 pounds in both their fights. I will fight Conor at 175 pounds, no problem. Stop making excuses p******.” he wrote in a tweet

Dana White also confirmed that he’s not against the idea of the Paul brothers competing in the UFC.

“I’m never completely closed off to anything,” White said. “I used to say that about things, but I don’t say that anymore, because you never know. You never know what could happen.”

Will we ever see the Paul Brothers in the UFC? Only time will tell.
