Dana White Dodges Iran Question: Regular Citizens Like Us, You Can Feel However You Want To Feel About It But It’s Gonna Happen

UFC CEO Dana White found himself dealing with political questions during a recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he was pressed about the escalating situation with Iran. When directly asked for his perspective on current events involving the Middle Eastern nation, White chose to keep his cards close to his chest.

“What do you think of what is happening at the moment with Iran? Do you have a view about it?” Morgan asked during their interview.

White’s response was measured: “Not really. I mean I do in ways, but again not anything that I would talk about publicly, you know. It’s what I’m talking about politically.”

The UFC CEO, known for his close friendship with Donald Trump and occasional appearances at Republican events, explained his reluctance to wade into international affairs discussions. He drew a clear line between his personal opinions and what he’s willing to share in public forums.

“The United States is doing what the United States is going to do. Regular citizens like us, you know, you can support it or not support it or feel however you want to feel about it. But it’s going to happen. That’s that,” White continued.

White emphasized that while people are entitled to their feelings about such situations, the reality is that government actions will proceed regardless of public sentiment.

Despite his well-documented friendship with Trump and previous appearances at political rallies, White has consistently maintained that he’s “not as political as everybody thinks.”

Earlier in the same interview, White had discussed his approach to political discourse, noting that he doesn’t typically engage in partisan attacks or put down opposing viewpoints. “Anytime that I’ve ever spoke at the Republican convention or for Trump or at any of his rallies, you never hear me putting down the other side. I never put down the other side or any of that type of stuff.”
