A controversial moment unfolded during UFC 318 coverage when explicit images allegedly involving UFC star Conor McGregor accidentally appeared on broadcast screens. The situation started viral discussions across social media platforms.
After Dustin Poirier vs Max Holloway, UFC analyst Chael Sonnen was on screen when fans at the back were waving images of Conor’s leaked n*des on their phones. The incident occurred during coverage following a major event, with viewers quickly capturing screenshots and sharing them across various online forums.
Sonnen found himself at the center of the discussion, having previously addressed the controversial photographs on his podcast. “I can’t quit staring at Connor’s di**,” Sonnen had admitted in a YouTube video previously while analyzing images that surfaced online.
Sonnen had also expressed his skepticism about the authenticity of the pictures in the YouTube video. According to Sonnen’s understanding, McGregor “strips, he unsolicited Brett Favres, but he attached a weight to his mini me” before sending images without consent.
Despite the salacious nature of the allegations, Sonnen remains doubtful about their authenticity. Drawing from his entertainment industry experience, he suggests the photos might be AI-generated or from a film set. “Connor’s eyes are doing some weird stuff, and it just looked like potential AI,” he noted.
The controversy started when American rapper Azealia Banks publicly exposed what she claims were unsolicited adult images sent by McGregor, accompanied by threatening messages.

Banks made clear she wasn’t intimidated by attempts to silence her. “How you gonna send a b*tch a some crooked d*ck pics then threaten her not to tell. N*gga do you know who the f*ck I am? This is HARAM,” Banks wrote on social media.
She continued her public callout by adding: “Like how are you really going to s*xually harrass me with the potato farmer d*ck then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland, what is it giving fam? Use some f**king sunscreen d*mn.”
According to Banks’ account, McGregor’s messages carried warnings. The MMA star reportedly wrote: “Don’t be a rat, because all rats end up caught.”
Following the public exposure, McGregor appeared to take damage control measures, reportedly deleting controversial content and unfollowing Banks on social media platforms. However, he has remained silent on the matter, offering no public response to the allegations.
This latest controversy adds to McGregor’s mounting legal troubles, coming months after he was ordered to pay nearly €200,000 in damages to a woman who accused him of r*pe in Ireland. He also faces ongoing legal cases in the United States involving similar allegations.
The accidental broadcast appearance has only amplified the controversy surrounding the Irish MMA star, who has been absent from professional competition for over four years despite repeated hints about returning to competition.
