Colby who? Masvidal secures Trump social media sponsorship

Jorge Masvidal might not be a big fan of red baseball caps but he’s certainly a huge fan of former president of the United States Donald Trump. And the affection might be paying off.

Masvidal recently announced that he is on Truth Social – an alternative social media platform created by Donald Trump’s media company. The announcement was coupled with a specific link that’s likely some sort of a referral program.

Oddly – Masvidal recommended Rumble, a different freedom of speech oriented media platform just last week. He recommended it to the youtube megastars Nelk boys after their podcast episode featuring Donald Trump had been removed from the platform.

The idea to launch Truth Social reportedly came to Trump after he was banned from Facebook and Twitter following the attack on the United States Capitol in 2021.

Donald Trump issued a statement on his website regarding the censorship saying:

“Whatever happened to free speech in our Country? Incredibly, but not surprisingly, the Big Tech lunatics have taken down my interview with the very popular NELK Boys so that nobody can watch it or in any way listen to it,” the 45th president said in a statement released by his Save America PAC.”

“In the 24 hours that it was up it set every record for them, by many times,” he continued. “Interestingly on the show I told them this would happen because Big Tech and the Fake News Media fear the truth, they fear criticism about Biden, and above all, they don’t want to talk about the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election, all topics discussed.”

The Co-Founder of the Nelk Boys, Kyle Forgeard tweeted about the case.
