Brendan Schaub reveals his PED stack during a debate over if testosterone is a PED

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub found himself in an amusing predicament during a recent appearance on the Jaxxon Podcast when the conversation took an unexpected turn toward PEDs.

What started as casual banter about strength testing quickly evolved into Schaub candidly discussing his current supplement regimen, leading to some genuinely funny moments about what constitutes “natural” in today’s athletic world.

The revelation came during a grip strength competition between Schaub and podcast host Rampage Jackson, where Schaub managed to crush the previous record with a 176.5 reading. When asked if he was “all natural,” Schaub’s response sparked the entertaining debate that followed.

“Yeah, that’s what the problem is,” Schaub initially claimed about being natural, before the conversation took a comedic turn when his previous statements about testosterone use were brought up. The hosts referenced a clip where Schaub had told Bradley Martin he’d “never done any ster**ds, just testosterone,” to which Martin had replied that testosterone literally is ste**ids.

Schaub’s defense of his position provided the podcast’s funniest moments. “No, I love that clip. I love that clip. You’re like, that ain’t st**oids.”

Rampage Jackson then said: Yeah, testosterone is not st**oids. No, it’s not.”

Schaub then says: “That’s all I’m on. Then I’m not on ste**ids,” he insisted, before clarifying his current regimen: “I’m on peptides. I’m on peptides, BPC-157 then T.”

The discussion became even more entertaining when the hosts initially misheard “BPC” as “BBC,” leading to a series of comedic misunderstandings that had everyone laughing. Once clarified, Schaub elaborated on his routine: “Well, the guy brings it once a week. Yeah, he does. But I mean, it’s I don’t care to be like not all naturally. I’ll take it. Whatever it is, what it is.”

Schaub’s justification for testosterone use centered on the argument that it’s naturally produced by the body. “But testosterone it’s natural. Your body produces it, so it’s natural,” he reasoned, prompting co-host Rampage to quip, “Sure, man. Whatever you tell yourself to go to.”

The former UFC contender didn’t shy away from discussing the practical aspects of his regimen, mentioning both the benefits and drawbacks. “I love it because I love it, cuz after I take it, I sleep good,” he explained, while also acknowledging the less pleasant aspects: “But sometimes it hurts, right? If Yeah. Yeah. If you don’t shower and your skin’s tight and it’s like you got to spread your skin.”

Schaub’s casual admission that he takes both testosterone and BPC-157 while maintaining he’s “natural” highlighted the mental gymnastics many athletes perform when justifying their enhancement choices.
