Boxing sensation Ebanie Bridges has weighed in on the highly anticipated cage match between tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, offering her prediction for the outcome.
The world was left stunned when Musk and Zuckerberg verbally agreed to face off in an MMA event following the Facebook founder’s announcement of a new site to rival Twitter.
Musk expressed his frustration, saying, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb,” before playfully suggesting, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”
Zuckerberg quickly accepted the challenge, posting a screenshot on his story channeling the famous words of Khabib Nurmagomedov: “Send me location.”
While Zuckerberg, who has trained in jiu-jitsu, is considered the early favorite to win the proposed bout, IBF bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges believes Musk will come out on top due to his “serial killer” vibe.
Expressing her support for Musk, Bridges shared with Daily Star, “I really like Elon Musk, I think he is so random, so I’ll pick him. He kinda has that serial killer look.”
The actual realization of the event is yet to be confirmed, but UFC president Dana White is confident that both men are serious about the challenge.
Bridges loves a good stunt, she previously flashed an interviewer in order to go viral and snag some free publicity for her newest joint venture.
During an interview with TMZ Sports, White revealed, “I was talking to both Elon and Mark last night, both guys are absolutely dead serious about this. They both said, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it!’ They both want to do it. Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first and said, ‘Is [Elon] serious?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask him.’ I asked him, and [Musk] said, ‘Yeah, I’m dead serious.'”
Musk has even suggested holding the event at UFC’s base in Las Vegas, but later admitted doubts about his own fitness level, confessing, “I almost never work out.”
MMA’s infamous manager Ali Abdelaziz even got caught in the media storm that followed, offering his MMA management services to a spoofed account.
