Boxer Ryan Garcia’s ex-wife cautions he’s ‘not well’ amidst troubling social media posts

In recent developments, concerns for the well-being of renowned Mexican boxer Ryan Garcia have surfaced.

The incident started when a troubling video was shared on his X and Instagram accounts. The shaky footage features an unidentified man in a house, accompanied by alarming captions that left fans and fellow competitors deeply troubled.

Ryan Garcia’s ex-wife Andrea Celina Velarde provided some relief to worried fans. Having divorced Garcia just two months prior, she disclosed being in contact with the boxer but expressed genuine concern for his condition.

The alarming posts hinted at potential distress, and Andrea urged followers to pray for Garcia’s well-being.

She wrote: “If all my followers who are believers can you please pray for Ryan. We are not together and i’ve been in contact with him and he may seen fine but he is not. I know in my heart he is being heavily oppressed. This is not a troll, I’m genuinely concerned and so is all his family members. We are not part of any of this and want him to get better but this IS REAL. Pray for him.”

Garcia’s father, Henry Garcia gave a quick update in response to a fan’s remarks on one of his earlier Instagram photos. Though he implied there was more going on behind the scenes, the coach reassured them that his son was “just trolling.”

Henry replied to a comment: “Yes Ryan is ok , he’s just trolling the wrong way.” He then further added: “No there’s more to it . Trust.”

The disturbing video remains on Garcia’s social media accounts, with no official statement from Garcia’s promoter Golden Boy Promotions.

On April 20, Garcia is slated to square off against Devin Haney.
