Bradley Martyn is a renowned YouTuber and bodybuilder. Recently, he expressed his interest in stepping into the MMA cage with internet sensation Logan Paul. Despite his lack of experience, Martyn has been vocal about his aspirations and didn’t hold back during a conversation on the ‘Full Send’ podcast.
During a discussion with Mike Majlak and the Nelk brothers, the 260-pound bodybuilder disclosed his desire to compete against Logan Paul in MMA.
When asked about his dream matchups, Martyn quickly responded: “I want to MMA fight with Logan, that’s all I wanted. Because I know they’re going to eventually do the UFC thing.”
Martyn has gained popularity through his candid YouTube talk show, where he hosts other bodybuilding personalities. His controversial opinions particularly about his ability to defeat professional MMA combatants like Nate Diaz and Demetrious Johnson have sparked considerable debate.
Martyn believes that the current trend of celebrity boxing will eventually shift towards MMA. During the podcast, Majlak asked if he truly thought he could defeat Logan Paul in an MMA bout. Martyn confidently replied, “Yes.”
While Martyn’s claims are bold, his chances against Logan Paul might be slim. Martyn has previously been taken down and humiliated by smaller opponents, casting doubt on his potential success in the MMA arena.
Bradley Martyn’s persistent callouts have made waves in the MMA community. His challenges to fighters despite being humbled in the past, have drawn significant attention. A notable incident involved Martyn calling out Demetrious Johnson, a flyweight champion. This happened just after a video surfaced showing Johnson taking down a much larger opponent in an open-weight jiu-jitsu tournament.
Martyn seemed unimpressed by Johnson’s accomplishment. However, he received a reality check when a fan managed to take him down. In a viral video, Martyn attempted a sneak attack on a smaller individual holding a placard. The fan quickly reversed the takedown, leaving Martyn humbled.
This humbling experience could be a turning point for Martyn. But with proper training and dedication, there’s potential for him to transition into professional MMA.
