Australian star Tai Emery knocked out Charisa Sigala at Super Rizin 3 with a single punch, shattering her opponent’s nose in the process. The bout, which took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo in front of over 48,000 fans, lasted less than 40 seconds before Emery landed the decisive blow.
Prior to her career, Emery was involved in lingerie football and had worked as an electrician and thermographer. Today, she is a standout in the world of bare-knuckle boxing, with experience in MMA and Muay Thai as well.
At Super Rizin 3, Emery and Sigala, a model, stepped into the ring for a bare-knuckle showdown. It was a short-lived affair, as Emery’s powerful right hand landed squarely on Sigala’s face, leaving her nose clearly bent and broken.
“She’s busted her nose!” exclaimed commentator Michael Schiavello, as Sigala began adjusting her injured nose on the mat. The shattered nose proved too much for Sigala to overcome, and she was unable to rise to her feet.
