Anti Trump podcast dethrones JRE in views and downloads

Independent media network Meidas Touch has tied with Disney for the top spot in U.S. video podcast viewership, surpassing the widely popular Joe Rogan Experience, according to recent data published by Adweek.

The achievement is particularly noteworthy given the stark contrast in resources between the platforms. While Disney boasts a market capitalization of $213.3 billion, and Rogan operates under a lucrative Spotify contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars, Meidas Touch has achieved its success without external investors or corporate backing.

Despite this significant milestone, Adweek’s reporting appeared to downplay Meidas Touch’s achievement. The publication instead focused on Rogan’s performance, with their headline emphasizing “Joe Rogan Leaps Over Traditional Media in October,” while giving minimal attention to the network that actually outperformed him.

“It’s kind of odd that Adweek basically ignores us and wrote the piece around Joe Rogan when we beat Joe Rogan,” noted a Meidas Touch representative. “They say Joe Rogan ‘leaps over traditional media.’ Well, what about Meidas Touch?”

The anti-Trump network’s rise to the top of the charts demonstrates a significant shift in podcast consumption patterns, particularly notable given that Meidas Touch launched years after Rogan’s show and has achieved its success through organic growth.

The network maintains its presence across multiple platforms, including YouTube, their own podcast, Meidas Plus.com, and Blue Sky, continuing to expand its reach while remaining independent and true to its founding principles.
